A strong net(work): Admission into the ECCO International Communications Network helps propel ad publica forward in the current PR Ranking. The German branch of the ECCO Network was ranked 14th among reviewed agencies.
The annual Ranking by PR-Journal editor Gerhard Pfeffer lists PR agencies with the highest revenue. Among the agencies reviewed, the German ECCO Network, which includes Hamburg agency ad publica, was ranked 14th. ECCO Germany is listed with a revenue of EUR 4.37 million and 49 employees.
Including agencies that have not been reviewed into the ranking would put ECCO in 46th place. This is the first time the international network has made it into the PR Ranking – a remarkable cold start. The ranking matches an overall positive trend at Hamburg-based ad publica. Most recently, the creative team headed by managing director trio Heiko and Martina Biesterfeldt and Sonia Garcia-Köpper was recognized with the International German PR Award in the category ‘Technology and Innovation Communications’, in addition to advancing to 12th place in the PR-Journal’s PR-Kreativ-Ranking, which is rating agencies purely on the basis of their PR offering.
Martina Biesterfeldt heads ad publica’s internationalization strategy and is additionally responsible for the agency’s new business. She sees the inclusion into Gerhard Pfeffer’s listing as a positive sign: ‘Many of our customers have international operations. In recent years, our budgets have increasingly reflected this international approach. Membership in the ECCO Network was a logical next step. Internally, we realize that this will enhance our credibility vis-à-vis customers. We are very pleased that this ranking now also provides external visibility.”
